i lost five dollars playing poker last night at a birthday party. i was supposed to go with a friend, but he never showed. it was an odd assortment of people...most of them i didn't know, or only knew on the surface. i think i did a good job of playing my character. no one seemed to know who i was, which was a relief. i've had a headache all day. but it's only a minor inconvenience. i've completed all my tasks. i've made everyone happy. i've tried. and i'm tired.

i'm close to myself again.
